Between 1977 and 1979, Colombian activist Leon Zuleta self-published El Otro, the first gay magazine produced in Colombia. The underground nature of the publication has limited its access, with issues scattered in different archives. El Orto (The Arsehole) is a compilation and analysis of six issues of this legendary magazine, which helped to establish Leon Zuleta as one of the founders of the LGBTQ+ movement in Colombia.
Entre 1977 y 1979, el activista colombiano Leon Zuleta publicó la revista El Otro, el primer magazine gay impreso en Colombia. Al ser una autopublicación única en la época, y con una audiencia casi nula, su distribución fue muy limitada, lo que ha dificultado su acceso. El Orto es un intento por reunir y hacer público el acceso a esta publicación fundamental al establecer a Leon Zuleta como uno de los fundadores del Movimiento LGBTIQ+ en Colombia.
