This series of drawings explore ideas about semen, a human secretion related to life and death. It consists of 27 drawings of screenshots taken from bareback gay porn videos. Bareback is the practice of having intercourse without a condom, and before the wide use of drugs as Prep, which reduces the risk of HIV infection, it was limited to a gay subculture of positive men who have sex with each other, or people who find the risk of infection exciting. The way semen is celebrated in those videos is not different from how the god’s seed is understood in some religions like catholicism, which considers every drop sacred.
